TUTORING IN SCHOOLS
If you are interested in committing to at least one day a week tutoring in a certain school, please contact us and help us fulfil this essential part of our mission. Please remember that your consistent, positive presence -- not your writing ability, nor your grammatical ability, nor your teaching ability -- is what really matters. If you show up every week and work with these kids on whatever they need, that's often more than enough!

Please keep in mind that before you are able to volunteer at Manual High School, we need you to complete the Volunteers of America (VOA) registration and orientation process. VOA will conduct a necessary background check. We'd also like you to come meet with us so you'll feel prepared. Contact us if you're interested.
